Friends in Beijing

I always miss Beijing as it is the city that I did my undergraduate studies there. When talking about friends, I consider myself an extremely lucky person because I always happen to find these genuine people who are just meant for life, be it school, college, my internship or otherwise. They’re programmers from THU online education office. They write programs for Chinese MOOC. Under their influence, I become interested and get started with online learning.

Miss one person just like the person who live in one city. And the most touching experience was when in my final year in college, I was absolutely clueless about what I wanted to do in life. I got stuck and worried about my future incessantly. But my friends helped me exploring different options and the one thing she said has stuck with me forever.
She just holds me and tells me,
“Don’t be afraid. I won’t let you go through this alone. We will find a way.”
That’s it. Those comforting words were all I ever needed to know how lucky I am to have her as my friend.

Finally, I want to share with you a picture of Beijing local snack Tanghulu (candied haws on a stick). I miss them every day in the winter.

  1. It remind me of the time when I was in the university in Hunan. Four-years’ time bund us together with the place and the person with us. The beautiful memories will be treasured forever!
